• Played a key role in acquiring major funding grants from corporations, foundations, and the federal government to expand the institution’s involvement in Internationalization of the Curriculum, Community and Economic Development, and Total Quality Management.

• As Coordinator of Corporate Support for the Atlanta Public Schools, raised funding for new projects and worked closely with the system Superintendent to develop community partnership initiatives designed to improve student performance.

• As Manager of International Marketing Administration for Scientific Atlanta, Inc., provided administrative support for a network of sales representatives and distributors in over 50 countries for seven divisions of the company; that distribution network produced over $70 million+ in export sales for the company. • As Special Projects Manager at the same company, created and managed the Small and Minority Business Program in Corporate Purchasing which substantially increased the company’s purchases from minority firms.

• At the General Electric Company in Lynn, MA, contributed to the sales and service of military aircraft engines through a variety of positions including Operational Planning Analyst, Engineering Analyst, and Foreman in Quality Inspection.
