As a recent graduate with a B.A. in communication and English writing, I am passionate about the power of words to shape perceptions, tell stories, and inspire change. Throughout my studies, I honed my written and verbal communication skills. As a Student Assistant for University Relations and a Publicity Intern at Falco Ink., I learned the ins and outs of strategic communication. I developed my media relations skills in a hands-on environment. Additionally, my years working in the food service industry built the ideal foundation for an unwavering work ethic. My roles taught me the importance of teamwork, time management, and delivering excellent customer service. The most valuable skill I've learned thus far is flexibility. No writing project is the same, and I love facing challenges head-on. At my core, I'm a creative writer. As a poet, I love telling stories with unique words. This year, I won 1st place in the Kean University Poetry Prize and developed a chapbook of multimodal poetry. Being both a communication and English major prepares me to excel at all forms of writing. It's the best of both worlds.
