I functioned in the second senior-most role in the development office and advisor to the Dean and senior leadership of the institution. I offered strategic advice to the Dean and senior faculty members across all aspects of operational planning, special projects, and fundraising initiatives. I served as head of the top-performing 14-member Leadership Giving Team to oversee all major gift fundraisers and directed HKS annual fund. I governed a 250 prospect portfolio while focusing on driving expansion in significant areas including New York, Washington D.C., Miami, Los Angeles and the Middle East. I served as main liaison with the majority of top-rated, non-alumni donors. I sourced, identified, and recruited crucial new alumni and non-alumni donors. I generated high-functioning and motivated staff members through continued mentorship, routine performance reviews, and recognition for superior efforts. I spearheaded fundraising efforts to drive the political campaign for Seth Moulton. I cultivated a highly-motivated and invested six-member campaign team by performing comprehensive talent development initiatives including recruiting, hiring, training, and continued mentorship. I functioned as a subject matter expert on all party positions, personal stances, and views of the candidate in order to advise community members and key partners on the potential benefits of election. I liaised with the general public in order to advocate for change, secure funding, expand audience awareness of issues, and cultivate strong networks of candidate support.The following are highlights of the value I provided in this position:■ Strategized and executed a nation-wide fundraising initiative for a U.S. presidential campaign.■ Obtained $1M in funds within an eight-week period in a crowded candidate field.

I established and prioritized core business objectives of the center and developed comprehensive short- and long-term strategic plans to drive goal attainment in close partnership with Faculty Co-Directors. I secured 18 high-level fundraising board members for a new Leadership Council by conducting tactical recruitment efforts focused on identifying leadership profiles. I led a team comprised of two staff members and various undergraduate students in the successful completion of all daily operational functions.
