    As the Online Security Manager at Cornerstones Education, I manage, maintain and improve our Information Security Management System, ensure compliance with relevant data protection legislation and security policies, and ensure continuing certification against ISO 27001. My responsibilities include:- Lead auditor for ISO 27001 (internal audits)- Supplier security and management- Risk management and assessment- Internal Security and Awareness training programme.- Monitoring and measurement of the ISMS- Continuing improvements to the ISMSI have built and now maintain our company intranet on SharePoint and designed and automated processes using PowerAutomate. I am responsible for identifying and improving systems and processes across the company. I also work with our development team to design new features, test changes, and ensure that all developments are secure and controlled and that customers are unaffected where possible. Another part of my role is to support the Customer lifecycle to ensure systems and processes are running smoothly and offer expert guidance if required. As part of my role, I have undertaken various Management training, ISO 27001 implementation training, BSI internal auditor training (ISO 27001), ISC2 Certified in Cyber Security and a GDPR foundation course.

    In February 2016 I took up my first conducting job as Musical Director of Deepcar Brass Band. We rehearse twice a week in Deepcar and have a wide range of concerts, contests and other events throughout the year. Since taking on the job we have achieved promotion to the 3rd section after 5th, 4th and 6th places consecutively at the regional area competition (the best results in the band's history). After a 2nd place in our first entertainment contest, we’ve gone one to compete at the Bolsover Festival of Brass year on year.
