The 24.com Head of Product Management heads a team of PMs and POs who design, develop and implement products, services and features across the 24.com online publishing network to leverage technology and platforms to create audience engagement and commercial opportunities. This requires an in-depth knowledge of our audience behaviour, content management systems, websites, editorial policies and processes and project workflow in order to iterate our products through various lifecycles.

In addition, was Product Owner of News24.com website, as well as of the 24.com proprietary CMS, prioritising and managing the ongoing development of our publishing platforms. Worked on editorial desk of News24.com on an ad-hoc basis.

Oversaw the User-Generated Content publication, Social Media strategies and user-liaison channels for News24.com, as well as the development of Special Reports and Projects on an ad-hoc basis. Worked on editorial desk of News24.com on an ad-hoc basis. During this time, was appointed editorial product owner for the News24.com migration project (from Vignette into our in-house CMS). Created new editorial workflow for publishing which is still in use today on News24, Nuus24, Beeld, Die Burger, Volksblad, Rapport, City Press, News24 Kenya, News24 isiZulu and News24 Nigeria.

Produced and updated content for News24.com in the Letters, User-Generated Content, Travel, Competitions and General Editorial (ad hoc basis) sections. Worked on Special Reports and projects and assisted in day-to-day site updating and technical troubleshooting. Liaised with users; trafficking inquiries and feedback to the necessary members of staff on an ongoing basis. Produced multimedia for News24.com.

Oversaw the daily updating of Pipex.com, a UK-based ISP portal, with relevant UK news and entertainment content.
