A chemical process engineer with over 20 years practical experience in manufacturing and Mining operations. I have provided innovative solutions to difficult problems - the sort that no-one wants to touch. I am known as an approachable mentor on technical and safety processes, whether it be with wages personnel, technical analysts or senior management. I have written, reviewed and audited safe work practices - to make every day a better day - in a Major Hazard Facility where there is gas, chemical and molten liquid hazards. Further, I have developed, facilitated review from subject matter experts (SMEs) and standardised a whole library of Safe Work Procedures for underground coal mines. I believe in driving for zero harm.. improving a company's safety culture through progressive improvements such as quality Safe Work Procedures.
