Everyone has a story. I do not like sharing parts of mine; however, I find there are times when it may benefit someone to hear that the person sitting across from them and providing care is also human, has struggled with their own battles, and is still moving forward. ‘Onward and upward’ has been my personal mantra for years now. I have come to realization that no single point in my life (good, bad, or ugly) has to define me for the rest of my life. I have learned to accept myself and love this life of mine. I want to help others do the same. I believe life is too short no matter how long we live. I want to use the education I have received, the virtues instilled in me, and the lessons my life has taught me to help others on their journey.
