I specialize in coaching family business leaders.As the granddaughter of an entrepreneur, I grew up in a family business and enjoyed a 20-year corporate career before returning to lead a turn-around in my family's manufacturing business. That's when I discovered the unique challenges of family business leadership and pivoted my career to serve leaders of family businesses.I wrote "Hug of War" to support family business leaders (and their advisors) to integrate the competing norms of the business mindset - a rational driver that values profits, competition, and meritocracy - and the family mindset - an emotional driver that values fairness, sharing and unconditional belonging.
