I have worked for MGM Grand Resorts for over 17 years. In that time, I have grown and gained incredible experience at the New York New York and in June of 2018 I transferred to our luxury property, the MGM Grand. I have developed a strong knowledge of slot machines, the reward system and casino operations. I strongly believe in maintaining a healthy relationship with co-workers, other departments and guests. I have experience with the handling of large amounts of money and am also well versed in comforting guests during difficult situations. I also pride myself on providing premier service to our high end clientele.

After joining the New York New York in 2003, I was promoted to Slot Supervisor and within 2 years, promoted once again to Slot Assistant Manager. In my position of Slot Assistant Manager, I was assigned additional duties in the back office such as scheduling, classes and kiosks. In my new role, I still continued to walk the floor, fix tilts, and paid jackpots. Most importantly I continued to maintain a healthy relationship with guests and staff.

My duties as a Slot Shift Supervisor included supervision of the casino floor and assisting guest services. While my main role as a supervisor was control of the casino floor and oversight of the employees, I continued to remain active with my involvement with minor repairs to the slot machines, payout of jackpots and assisting guests with all their needs.

As a Guest Service Representative, my duties included maintenance of my slot area, fixing minor tilts on the slot machines, payout of jackpots, enrollment of guest to the rewards program, breaking bills and providing guest services. During this time, I worked in the Rewards Club which provided me with knowledge and experience regarding tournaments, promotions and understanding of the benefits of the rewards program.

As a Slot Booth Cashier I assisted 2 windows, a guest window and an employee window. At the guest window I was tasked to pay slot vouchers, chips and break down bills. At the employee window I purchased jackpot/fill slips and supplied floor people with their pouches.
