• Nuclear Tooling Technical Lead for Bruce Power's Major Component Replacement Project (MCR). Responsible for leading the design, manufacturing, and acceptance testing of automated tooling used throughout Bruce Power's Reactor Refurbishment(s) (6 units)[HWT, RWP, RTC, BWST, PTST, EF-SPIRT, ATHT, VAS, RCS & GTCS]• Nuclear Tooling Technical Lead for the Darlington's Retube and Feeder Replacement (RFR) Project. Responsible for leading the design, manufacturing, and acceptance testing of automated tooling used during the Darlington Reactor Refurbishment (4 units)[HWT, BCT, PTCT, EF-SPIRT, S-SPIRT, VAS, VOS, VCS, RCS, GTCS & WTS]• Supplied key in-depth system knowledge and directly accountable for the "Heavy Worktable", "Bellows Cut Tool", "PT Cut Tool", "EF-SPIRT & S-SPIRT Tooling", "Vision Alignment System", "Vault Observation & Communication System", "Retube Control System", "Generic Tool Control System", & the "Waste Tooling System / Facility".• Nuclear Tooling Lead supporting various OPG & Bruce Power Reactor Maintenance and Inspection projects / tooling. [BRIMS & RDS]• Reports to the Director of Engineering – Nuclear, and provides on-site tooling / system expertise, and technical / process support to ATS’ Worldwide Divisions.

• Responsible for ensuring complete compliance with Quality requirements to the ISO 9001, CSA-B51, CSA-Z299, and CSA-N285 standards. • Conducts field inspections, examinations and tests for quality control over the manufacturing of components and finished products / tooling. Also completes onsite quality audits, and review of supplier documentation and procedural adherence. • Reports to the Director of Global Mission Assurance and Compliance, and ensures that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct.

• Planned, directed, and safely executed all Critical Path and support work throughout Fuel Channel Install and the Lower Feeder Installation Phase of the project. Specifically the construction, welding, material transfer, and quality control / NDE operations which were successfully completed ahead of schedule.• Accountable for all Candu personnel, sub contractors and construction work performed on site during the shift, as well as status updates to both the Client and upper Management team.

• Organized, coordinated, and led all Critical Path and plant activities throughout the Reactor Components Installation Phase of the project to ensure shift production targets were safely met.• Performed frontline supervision of multinational / multi-disciplined crews, skilled trades and sub-contractors during Calandria Tube & Fuel Channel Install, Bellows Welding, Single Fuel Channel Replacement, Fuel Channel Platform Removal and Site / Tooling Demobilization.• Operated as the Single Point of Contact for the refurbishment project during the shift, and was responsible for all Customer and sub-contractor interaction, production, and personnel on site.

• Provided specialized Tooling and Resident Engineering support for Critical Path work throughout the Reactor Components Removal Phase of the project. Specifically Fuel Channel Platform Install, Bellows and Pressure Tube Cut, End Fitting Removal, and PT/CTI/CT Removal series.• Supervised and performed tooling installation, commissioning, and operation on the Reactor Face as well as emergency repairs and troubleshooting of various production critical tools and systems throughout the project to minimize downtime and maximize production throughput.

• Part of a dynamic team responsible for design, manufacturing, integration and support of automated tooling and systems for the PLGS and Wol-1 Reactor Refurbishment projects.• Lead Tech for both the Mechanical and Electrical design, assembly and commissioning of the “Fuel Channel Platform”, “Heavy Work Table”, “Smart Vision Alignment System” and “Retube Common Cabling”. • Assisted in designing the “Siemens PLC and Servo Control Systems”, the fiber optics “Voice, Video, and Control Networks” and the “Arbiter Control Architecture”.• Responsible for supplier and project management to ensure on time and on budget delivery of key resources and tooling for the project. Also provided tooling support and system maintenance of Critical Path equipment and networks during Retube operations at PLGS to minimize production downtime.

• Assisted in the research and development, manufacturing, quality control and acceptance testing of specialized remote Orbital Welding and Feeder Inspection Tooling.

• Member of an intimate team responsible for designing, assembling, and Site Implementation of an automated blasting system for Steam Generator Cleaning.• Lead Tech for the Process System, which comprised of the “Shot Reclaimer-Generator”, “Waste Collection System”, and “Vacuum Blower & Compressor Skids”. Provided system commissioning, debugging, operation, and de-commissioning / decontamination services.• Operated as Shift Lead during Site Outages with direct supervision of the Site Team and coordinated all scheduled work including liaising with the Customer.

• Supervised and assisted students in the engineering commons, as well as supported the automated manufacturing lines, Omron PLC stations and Fanuc robotic cells.• Ran weekly preventive maintenance routines and performed system programming / sequencing, hardware upgrades, and electro-mechanical repairs.
