A Colombian born Physician and Surgeon, fascinated by exploring new frontiers and challenging myself to new endeavors: I worked for a couple of years within the Amazon rainforest, as a rotating on-site physician, in a very challenging environment, achieving over the top results: In education, prevention, management and Census of the indigenous population. Afterwards, I turned to China, more than two decades ago, to, not only learn the language and understand more about Traditional Chinese Medicine, but to understand the reality of the Chinese healthcare System. Currently, with more than 15 years' experience in Medical Assistance, Emergency planning, Medical Evacuations and repatriations, not only in mainland China but also Asia, I am able to help those in need, which is one of my fundamental goals, as a person. I continue to be based in Shanghai, China, holding a Chinese permanent residency.
