I am a Master's in Economics student in Farmer School of Business at Miami University seeking career opportunities in the Chicago area starting summer 2024. As part of my Business Economics major, I have taken classes to better understand economic theory and how it can be applied in the business world. Along with that, I participated in Miami University's Federal Reserve Challenge Team. In this, I worked with 4 team members and 2 alternates to gather data and put together a report assessing the health of the U.S. Economy. We then created a 15 minute presentation communicating our findings and offering suggestions as to what we believed the Federal Reserve should do. Over this last summer, I worked as a Public Finance Summer Analyst for Stifel in St. Louis, Missouri. This position allowed me to apply my data analytics skills using different programs such as Excel and DBC. I was also able to learn some of the intricacies of municipal bond underwriting by sitting in on internal meetings and attending external client meetings. I also gained valuable experience using a Bloomberg Terminal to view real time financial data. I believe the technical skills and experiences I have picked up during my coursework at Miami University as well as my internship at Stifel have put me in a great position to succeed in the business world.
