With over 16 years of experience in the maritime environment and 15 years in submarines, I am used to delivering cost effective safety management, engineering maintenance, commissioning, overhaul services and marine capability on all platforms. Specialising in efficient troubleshooting, installation certification, power generation, electrical work, instrumentation, hazardous areas, mechanical fitting, high voltage Switching, condition monitoring sampling, preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance and use of planned maintenance systems. I am able to work safely in hazardous environments off Australian & international waters with the confidence and experience to take on new and demanding projects. I am an experienced marine electrician with a background as a Leading Hand Marine Technician Submariner (MTSM). Possessing excellent training and exposure to hazardous environment where critical safety operations are paramount, with in the engineering systems operation and maintenance. As an MTSM sailor I was required to be adept at operating, monitoring and maintaining equipment in a wide and diverse range of platforms both in an offshore and shore-based environment. As an operator and maintainer, I was required to safely operate equipment and monitor performances to identify trends which have the potential to impact on the operational capability of a submarine and to initiate corrective action if required.
