Instructional Lead
Current* Designed and implemented training at the district, building, department and individual level - in both in-person and remote settings. Topics included: equity, developing inclusive CTE programs, implementing project-based learning, alternative assessment, student engagement and more.*Developed a multi-year PLC on project-based learning; facillitating the collaborative development of rubrics, student exemplars and an in-building set of best practices.*Managed deparment budget, including administration of Perkins and Pathways grants as well as program renewal. *Developed meeting agendas, deparment schedule and department professional goals.*Created and piloted strategies to improve equity and inclusivity of CTE programs: including recruitment, retention and curriulum development that have been implemented at the district level.*Managed Pathways Pilot program - a multi-year pilot to create interdisciplanary coursework between CTE and Core classes.*Provided instruction and developed materials for technology and pedagogy related to distance learning.*Implemented data driven systems for addressing equity issues in CTE using the NAPE Program Improvement Process for Equity model.
