He was also recognized for his undercover investigation which exposed the easy availability of drugs in Toronto's South Asian community.Steven D'Souza began his career with CBC in 2001 at CBC Newsworld Morning, where he helped produce coverage of a variety of stories including 9/11, the invasion of Afghanistan and the war in Iraq. In 2005, he transitioned to a career in front of the camera, taking up a reporting position in Prince Edward Island.Born in Richmond Hill, D'Souza has a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Ryerson University.
