While Mr. Becerra attended UCSD and UC Hastings, he was a member of the Dean’s distinguished honor roll and a George Moscone Merit Scholar.As part of Mr. Becerra’s philanthropic endeavors, he helped support the Marine Mammal Care Center's leadership team's recent successful turnaround of their non-profit animal hospital for stranded marine mammals in Los Angeles Country. Mr. Becerra was also a charter member and officer of the Red Shoe Society, a young professional group created to support the Ronald McDonald House.Mr. Becerra has also been a featured speaker on health care, employee mobility, PAGA, and ADA matters at the Los Angeles County Medical Association, the Orange County Medical Association and various Business Associations & Chambers of Commerce.
