This role presented a greater challenge due to this being a multi-site environment encompassing a mobile workforce along with permanent onsite staff. Due to my demonstrated technical ability and reliability I was given responsibility for Support of Bank of Ireland’s key UK payment processing centre, OSCEP in Birmingham. This included not only remote and local support, but also using my technical skills as a technical resource on externally run projects.Key Achievements:• Technical Resource on project to implement a site move of Bank of Ireland’s UK based payment processing centre. This was a complex project involving multiple levels of stakeholder, key 3rd party suppliers and the onsite implementation team. The move was completed without incident and more importantly without downtime. I received very positive feedback on my role within this project.• Technical Resource on a project to launch Blackberry remote email devices and BES Server to increase productivity of mobile workforce. This included device configuration, server management and roll out project planning, testing and implementation. Management was very pleased with how this project positively affected the mobile workers productivity.• Performed Windows XP Builds to upgrade Bank of Ireland Business Finance’s mobile workforce from NT4 based Dell laptops to HP/Compaq Windows XP Laptops.
