As a sales associate for Clarks, my most important responsibility was to create a welcoming environment for the customer. Once they felt comfortable in our store, it was my job to answer any questions and assist customers in anyway they find necessary. This requires dedicated time toward researching our own products, the shoe industry as a whole, and even other leather products to provide the most information possible and potentially lead to additional and even future sales.

Provided support as a member of the Front-End team to include assisting customers during the check-out process, performing all cash register functions, bagging groceries, and working at the customer service desk. Worked to maintain attractive customer service displays and support the regional Customer Service vision.

Worked with multiple accounts in the financial, B2B and consumer sectors, and assisted in crisis management support when needed. Clients I provided support for included high-end social media company, a top-five bank, a Big Four advisory firm, a 350-year-old multinational corporation and several more highly esteemed companies. Responsibilities included drafting social media and developing a plan to grow a following, monitoring media for crisis response, composing pitches for top-tier and trade media outlets, and way too much Microsoft Office. This internship also came with a stand-up comedy training experience, which teaches one to conquer any and all fears, as nothing is more intimidating than telling a joke in front of all of your peers.
