Operations Leadership of a flexible packaging, non-union manufacturing plant, serving the food and beverage industry. The site employs more than 250 people, with the majority of operations on a 24/7 schedule. Facility produces more than 130,000,000 plastic bags, film (16,500,000+ pounds of blown and more than 10,000,000 pounds of laminated), and fitments (over 250,000,000 injection molded parts and 64,000,000 assembled parts). Responsibile for all aspects of operations and its people.Achieved Safety performance of 0.70 RIR without a major / severe injury. Site achieved 300 days incident free in FY18.Implemented standardized work operations structure which was rolled out in August 2017 and completed site wide by April 2018. Delivered training to Operations front line leadership (Supervisors & Team Leads) in Practical Problem Solving, Standardized Work, and implemented Process Layered Audits, and Focused Improvement Teams utilizing the A3 format.

Operations leadership for manufacture of spin-on, diesel fuel.filters. I work with 100+ value stream members in High Performing, Natural and Project based teams. We employ Lean Manufacturing methods to continuously improve our business. Racor is certified in ISO TS16949. Execution of our Quality Management System includes problem solving with A3, 8D, Non Conformance Reports and Corrective Action RequestsThis position carries a broad scope of responsibility, with success dependent on active collaboration with suppliers, customers and all departments within Racor. My favorite projects are: new product launch, component and assembly design for manufacturing, and process productivity improvement.

My initial career path was focused on Agribusiness. At The Burchell Nursery, Inc I was able to experience many elements of the business.I started working in the greenhouse, focused on new propagation techniques for orchard tree root stocks. During the summer months I maintained prototype orchards, and completed stone fruit and apple sampling studies, assessing size, shape, color, and taste characteristics.During the growing season, I gained experience in Quality Assurance, reviewing field plots for insect infestation, disease, and equipment damage.After harvest, I supported the Sales team with order fulfillment and direct interaction with customers.My responsibilities included ongoing landscape and facilities maintenance, and short haul delivery driving with Class C, bobtail trucks.
