Facilities Process Manager
CurrentManaging a division that provides facilities support in the area of custodial, security, warehouse distribution, and building maintenance. Oversing construction of new facilities, building renovation, and ensuring that new furniture and equipment are installed at all new facilities. Preparing, submitting, and reviewing division goals, objectives, and accomplishments. Monitoring expenditures to keep the operation within budget. Overseeing the Capital Improvement and Program (CIP) management for the department, and ensuring that all CIP documents are completed and submitted to the Budget Office on time. Ensuring that all bond election documents are completed and submitted to the Budget Office and Public Works Department on time with the approval of the Director. Overseeing lease agreements and land acquisitions. Representing the department's interests at annexation meetings, the Intergovernmental Bond Coordinating Council, Planning Commission, City Council, and other meetings. Managing department vehicles and representing the division with the community. Reviews, monitors, and oversees Department Master Plan activities that align and integrate strategic plans into the design and functionality of workspaces and facilities. Facilitates the allocation and utilization of workspace for efficient and productive business operations in alignment with business needs and long-term plans. Monitors and analyzes usage trends within established service territories and plans, designs, and implements changes and enhancements in facilities management. Establishes, implements, and reviews policies, protocols, and procedures promoting safety regulations and code compliance related to the operation of heating, air handling, and electrical and mechanical control systems. Promotes sustainability by facilitating continuous improvement of facilities to meet the requirements set forth in the Environmental Climate Protection program and environmental system ordinances.
