I am experienced in the practice of real estate transactions, leasing general contract formation, corporate law, and business litigation. My practice spans the spectrum of transactional real estate, including acquisitions and dispositions, financing, development, joint venture formation, and leasing. I have represented buyers and sellers in both simple and complex purchase, sale, and 1031 exchange transactions involving industrial, commercial, office, retail, hotel and mixed-use properties. My financing experience includes representing both borrowers and lenders on the origination of loans (including commercial mortgage backed securities (CMBS) loans) secured by office buildings, apartment buildings, hotels, and retail properties located in California and throughout the United States, the defeasance of loans, and loan servicing matters. In addition, I have experience in leasing, including the representation of both landlords and tenants in leases of office, industrial, and retail space located throughout California and the United States. I also have extensive experience in subleasing matters, tenant build-outs, and lease assignments from all sides of the transactions.
