I am a dedicated Geodetic Engineer with more than five years of experience at the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH). During my tenure, I have been actively involved in various field surveys across the country, often in remote and challenging environments. This experience has allowed me to develop a strong resilience and adaptability, essential qualities for successfully managing projects in diverse conditions.At DPWH, I have gained extensive experience using a wide range of surveying instruments, including RTK systems (CHC, Leica, Trimble, and ComNav), echosounders (both single beam and multibeam), LiDARs (drone-mounted and boat-mounted), total stations, and digital levels. My hands-on experience with these advanced technologies has honed my skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation, which are crucial for effective geospatial management and planning.In addition to my core responsibilities as a Geodetic Engineer, I have expanded my knowledge into hydrologic and hydraulic analysis. Driven by curiosity and a desire to understand the complexities of flood simulation and river channel design, I have acquired skills in using GIS applications and specialized software such as HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS. These tools enable me to contribute to designing infrastructure that minimizes the impact of flooding, enhancing the safety and resilience of communities.Additionally, I am currently one of the core participants of the technical working group for Capacity Development in Coastal Engineering for Coastal Resiliency under the Technical Cooperation Project of the DPWH and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). This role allows me to contribute to critical efforts in enhancing coastal resiliency and sustainability through advanced engineering practices.I am passionate about leveraging my technical expertise and continuous learning to contribute to impactful infrastructure projects. I am always looking for opportunities to grow professionally and to collaborate on innovative projects that address the challenges of our dynamic environment.
