As an elementary teacher at Westerly Public Schools, I have over 11 years of experience in teaching Spanish and English to students from diverse backgrounds and levels. I currently teach grade 3 at State Street School, where I create engaging and differentiated lessons that foster academic and social growth for my students. I hold an OPIc certification in Spanish, which demonstrates my oral proficiency and cultural awareness. In my previous roles, I taught Spanish as a foreign language to students from kindergarten to grade 8, using interactive and communicative methods to develop their linguistic and intercultural skills. I have also tutored students in various subjects, such as reading and math, helping them improve their confidence and performance. My core competencies include curriculum design, classroom management, assessment, and collaboration.
