Driven by his lifelong love of music and technology, Chris founded A Cappella Records in 2009 to secure publishing rights for covers and digitally distribute them. In 2013 this business evolved to Loudr and supported covers from over 4000+ artists including Charlie Puth, Jacob Collier, Pomplamoose, and Peter Hollens. In March 2016, he sold Loudr's distribution business to Audio Video Labs / CD Baby (now Downtown Music Group), investing the proceeds in scaling up Loudr's mechanical rights business. In April 2018, he sold Loudr to Spotify. Chris went on to lead the Publishing Services / Publishing Partner Affairs team at Spotify. As the face for the new publishing data strategy, he launched data products and implemented an unprecedented level of transparency with global partners. He has presented to partners at events and offices in New York, Los Angeles, Nashville, Toronto, Montreal, London, Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro, and Buenos Aires.In 2022, Chris joined contract management and collaboration platform Harbour as Chief Operating Officer.
