Cheung TANG (Dr. Chin Cheung TANG) is currently Teaching Lead of the Plant and Fungal Taxonomy, Diversity and Conservation MSc at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew in UK. He was a Science Education Coordinator at RGB, Kew. He has worked as Manager and Director of Environment Education in Ecobus in Hong Kong. He is passionate in promoting environmental education and social environmental campaigns. He has been a lecturer in the School of Science and Technology, Hong Kong Metropolitan University (previously named the Open University of Hong Kong) for more than four years.He has graduated with the Bachelor of Science (Major in Ecology and Biodiversity) in The University of Hong Kong. His Doctor of Philosophy degree has been obtained from the same university with his research project about plant systematics, molecular phylogenetics, biogeography and diversification rate analysis.He is a enthusiastic lecturer and plant taxonomist with solid taxonomic, molecular research and teaching experience. He is interested in appreciating biodiversity in terms of exploring the molecular and morphological variations in different life forms.
