As part of the Student Voice team, I support our network of over 1300 academic representatives, empowering them to ensure their voices on issues that matter to them and their colleagues are heard throughout the University of Edinburgh. Alongside this, I coordinate the Association’s annual Teaching Awards which recognise 2000 staff each year for their excellent teaching and support for students. I also work on academic policy, regulations, and quality assurance, again ensuring that the student voice and student interests are at the centre of discussions and decision making.

In this role, I supported the planning, delivery, and evaluation of the Edinburgh Climate Festival 2022 by coordinating the various working groups and members of the consortium.

For the first part of my time at 2050 Climate Group, my work centred around our flagship, award-winning Young Leaders Development Programme. I supported the volunteer team by providing logistical, operational and administrative support in order to deliver this six-module series of events. The programme aims to equip young people with the climate knowledge and leadership skills that empowers them to take climate action in all areas of their lives.I then pivoted to work on our multi-stakeholder 'Pint & A Plan' partnership with Tennent's Lager and SEPA, supporting the volunteer team to develop engaging content to bring new people into the climate conversation. I also supported other areas of the charity's operations, including ad-hoc communications work; general charity operations; and recruitment.

I was the first point of contact for students living in accommodation managed by the University of Edinburgh, helped to build community and make the transition to university easier for students. I also managed budgets, planned and executed events and took part in continuous training on mental health, sustainability, and health and safety amongst others.
