I assess and digitize the CBH's collections pertaining to Long Island, adding historical detail where possible.

While working closely with the Coleman family, I began to archivally process the Coleman collection, which concerns enslavement in Brooklyn, NY. Beyond this, I noted places in which the Coleman collection could supplement present and future CBH programming.

I contributed additional datasets to the St. Louis Database on Enslavement (SLIDE) database, cleaned, and reorganizeed existing datasets, refineed user experience when using the SLIDE, and presented on my work at a research symposium.

I researched and wrote an essay centering upon the relationship between Washington University in St. Louis and Francis McIntosh.

I designed and helped create the St. Louis Database on Enslavement (SLIDE), containing information drawn from Freedom Licenses, emancipation records, slave sales, and Census data for St. Louis County from 1817 through 1865. I also helped to write code to transfer data from a website containing the 1860 Census for St. Louis County to an Excel spreadsheet

I read and transcribed the Civil War correspondence and diaries of William Greenleaf Eliot as well as digitizing and transcribing records on enslavement available in St. Louis Census records.
