As the VP of Business Intelligence, I have the privilege of leading two teams: Data Science and Analytic Report Designers.Data Science team is currently working on the design of a highly scalable and extensible data platform to enable data collection, storage, modeling, creation of stats and analysis of massive data sets. The Analytic Report Designers will benefit from the creation of new data sources that will allow them to analyze and visualize data in a manner that will be much more efficient.These efforts will allow our company to create new products that will help potential clients in the Financial Industry.  I am also leading  an effort to create policies and procedures to provide a roadmap for our day-to-day operations. This effort will allow our company to be in compliance with SOC and Vendor Management audits. While my focus is to define and drive execution towards the achievement of our internal strategies and objectives, I am also developing and leading a group of highly innovative individuals who are constantly working on different ways to analyze and visualize data.

• Provide weekly analysis and statistics to enable discovery of trends, highlight needs and identify potential training opportunities. • During peak times and critical situatiuons, creation of trend reports to anticipate incidents that may impact business.• Creation of adhoc reports as needed• Creation and maintanence of scorecards/dashboards for First Contact Agents and Incident Management groups.• Creation of Knowledge Base Articles. • Evaluate current procedures and recommend improvements as well as create new procedures.

• Tier 1 customer support and customer service. Support users requiring technical assistance in stores located in Mexico.• Respond questions from callers; remotely assist with technology problems.• Log all Service Desk contacts using call tracking software.• Escalation of incidents to a higher level technical support group when necessary.• Customer satisfaction call-backs and close all resolved requests.

• Review telecommunications bills for payment using Microsoft Access databases and Excel spreadsheets.• Maintain procedures on bill reconciliation.• Working closely with telecommunications Mexico vendors thru daily correspondence, project management, and orders. • Reconcile bills for payment using Microsoft Access Databases. • Coordinate ordering, installation and disconnections.• Forecast future expenses. • Creation of statistic reports to communicate current expenses and recommendations.• Maintaining company phone and cellular phone inventory and procedures by upholding policies, maintaining records, ordering, and investigating all billing issues.• Maintaining all voice-related documentation such as vendor contact lists, circuit inventory, and line inventory.

• Sales trends analysis in order to create attractive Promotions for customers. With these analyses I was able to determine which Promotions would help Sales Team to achieve the Company’s objectives. • Inventory management of all the handsets that participated in Promotions.• Evaluation of subsidy impact of Promotions as well as develop Forecast trends of handsets.• Creation of statistic reports, trend analysis, and executive meetings to communicate current sales information, forecast and future recommendations.• Every month, after analyzing trends and creating forecasts, a Purchase Order was generated for handset providers (Motorola and RIM), in order to ensure at least 3 months of inventory.• Through an in-house application, administration of all Promotions.• Several projects related to 3G deployments, basically by creating forecasts of future sales trends.

• Sales and Operating Revenue annual and monthly forecast for Traditional Trade and Modern Trade as well as quota assignation for both channels. Some of the clients included: Walmart (all of its banners), Soriana, Clubs (SAM’s, Costco, City Club), COMEX, Chedraui, Grupo Corvi, and Distribuidora Sarria among others.• Management and follow up of inventory for new products distribution and quota management for both channels, working together with Trade Marketing and Demand Planning areas. • Creation of statistic reports, trend analysis, and executive meetings to communicate current sales information, forecast and future recommendations.• Analysis and maintenance of the annual objectives in combination with Sales Controlling management (growth as company, with focus on power brands, and develop of tactical brands) and present required actions and possible changes for the quota achievement. • Price Track analysis (own products and competitor’s).• System administration of the Siebel platform (used by MT and TT Sales force to generate client orders).• PLC project (Product Life Cycle) for product management and classification, which earned me the “Manager’s Award 2009).• Merchandiser’s project (mobile application) which was used by MT Sales force to monitor main POS activities, such as number of exhibitions, out of stock products, shelf space by category, and get pictures of the exhibitions among others.

• Auditing Sales processes and areas such as: Sales Planning, Trade Marketing, Business Development and Merchandising.• Leading internal audits, and collaborating with external and corporate audits, business process simplifications and SOX reviews (Sarbanes Oxley compliance). • Some of the most important findings lead to discovering and resolving important frauds in areas such as: Warehousing, inventory and Company Store. • Standardization of Policies and Procedures, including the creation of a site, which earned me the “Manager’s Award 2008”

• Standardization of Latin American security and controls policies and procedures for the system engineers, operation engineers and business application administrators. This project earned me the “Manager’s Award 2007”.• Consolidation of transition activities between EDS and Kraft.• User accounts administration for employees.
