With five years of experience as a Middle School Teacher, I am passionate about helping students develop their mathematical abilities and self-esteem. I currently work at Parkrose Middle School, where I teach math to diverse and enthusiastic learners, using engaging and differentiated instruction methods. I also collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students. Previously, I worked at Sunnyside School District. I was a 2018 corps member of Teach For America and gained valuable insights and skills in secondary education and teaching. I hold a Master's degree in Teaching from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Bethel University. I have strong skills in public speaking, communication, and time management, which help me deliver effective and clear lessons, communicate with students and parents, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
