Current job: Head of oil & petrochemical desk. P&L responsable, origination, due diligence, structuring and executing trade finance transactions. Extensive experience with international business development and sales in the field of trade finance, corporate finance and corporate banking. I'm involved in arranging financing for large commodity trade clients. Broad experience in arranging debt & equity finance Tasks / responsibilities: •Acting as a deal originator and coordinator upon completion of a transaction; •Due diligence and targeting prospects that fit into the strike zone;• Provide assistance in developing and closing complex (lending) transactions: analyse, assess and report on the risk-return trade-off of a transaction• Offer tailored structures by means of o.a. (documentary) Letters of Credit and other payment techniques.• Calculate credit risk based on collateral, assets and operations.• Audit loan decisions.• Independently prepare and complete credit applications of complex (or significant) transactions.• Maintain professional and technical knowledge.• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.• Manage the credit approval process for proposed transactions through to execution:* Evaluate Due Diligence,* Review legal documentation, tax structure and escalate any concerns* Co-prepare approval memoranda and presenting the transaction to Credit Committee.* Attend Bank meetings. * Interface as necessary with internal functions (finance, tax, environmental and legal) during deal execution processSpecialties: * Self starter, strong commercial and entrepreneurial focus, creative, hands on mentality• Extensive B2B network in commodity and corporate field• Broad financial expertise:• Ability to develop and maintain strong communication with clients.• Familiarity with international payment structures.• Familiarity with lending compliance.• Strong analytical knowledge.• Team player.
