• Establish, monitor, and adjust scheduling, focusing on continued improvement of efficiency and customer service.• Provide dedicated service for Georgia Pacific and other customers. Moving Intermodal container, dry van and refrigerated units.• Negotiate bids for new and current customers, solving problems or conflicts with customer rates and service. Use load boards and brokers for additional freight to help increase revenue. • Analyze and resolve driver schedules, HOS, route efficiencies, attendance, and on-time service to maximize hours, safety, compliance, and service. • Oversee container flow, storage, and global order fulfilment.

• Developed strong relationships within corporate and operational departments to ensure company logistics standards developed, measured and met.• Responsible for directly hiring and training department personnel in order to maximize operational efficiency. Lead and motivate direct reports to improve and maximize performance to exceed goals put in place.• Responsible for implementing necessary departmental changes to improve/increase productivity and driver retention.• Supervised 12 office staffed members, 140 company drivers and 15 owner/operators, while maintain and on time percentage of 99.5, increasing truck mileage from 1600 to 2400 miles per week, and improving Safety/Compliance.• Ensure compliance with all employees regarding DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and company policies and guidelines.

• Leads and performs Customer Service functions regarding 6 dedicated accounts.• Perform multiple work functions including; dispatch, planning, discipline, coaching, training, and utilization.• Identify area of opportunity and communicate with Terminal Leader/Planner/ECT on where we can improve level of service, utilization, and safety.• Training new hires to perform job duties from dispatching, planning, utilization, organization, and account expectations.

• Responsible for the booking Walmart loads, the successful dispatch of planned loads and subsequent ownership of loads for assigned area.• Coordinate fleet capacity needs with operations leadership and drivers; work closely with designated department to communicate late pickups and/or deliveries, as well as any other load changes, to appropriated department personnel.

• Managed daily cash and inventory, record sales and balance daily cash • Led and motivated the store team of about 50 employees to increase sales and ensure efficiency.• Resolved issues with dissatisfied customers, restoring trust and assuring satisfaction• Assisted with new employee training including store policies, services, and register operations.
