As Director of Communications, I oversaw QAIC's efforts regarding communications, public relations, digital and traditional marketing, and overall outreach strategy. Through immersive graphic design, in-depth research and analytical resources, and targeted marketing initiatives, QAIC was able to effectively engage American and Qatari audiences alike on comprehensive art and cultural programming and engagement through a variety of platforms, including social media, monthly newsletters, website, digital reports, and more. During my time at QAIC, I was also able to conceive and successfully launch several programs, including QAIC's popular Perfumery Museum which exhibited the rich history of scent in the Middle East and around the world. After co-founding the DC chapter of Startup Grind, I spent over five years developing the Startup Grind community in the DC area through monthly events, online engagement, and continual delivery of content to the local tech network (video, blogs, etc.), making the DC chapter one of the largest and most-engaged out of the 400+ chapters worldwide.Startup Grind is an event series designed to help educate, inspire, and connect local entrepreneurs. I served Logan International Relations as a freelance communications contractor on several projects involving international relations type work in the United States and in Europe. As Toptal's Head of Community, I recruited and managed a global network of event organizers and brand ambassadors who represented Toptal and integrated it into their respective local technical communities. In this role, I managed to provide a central platform to the diverse network of developers from around the world using online communications tools and routine in-person meetings. By utilizing both digital and "on the ground" strategies, my team and I were successful in enriching and developing Toptal's diverse talent network by increasing application rates each month. During my first year as Head of Community, I increased Toptal's physical community presence from two cities to thirty-four, from two continents to five. These communities thrived within the pockets of passionate engineers living all across the globe, hailing from countries like Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Croatia, Bangladesh, New Zealand and many others, which I was responsible to manage in real-time.In addition to managing the community itself, I also produced various types of content and media for Toptal for recruitment and branding purposes, like testimonial and promotional videos (featuring developers and clients alike), blog posts that achieved "viral" status, and other materials, like fact sheets, that were used for heightening brand engagement and increasing application rates.Toptal connects start-ups, businesses, and organizations to a growing network of elite software developers around the world. During my time with Foster.ly I assisted in marketing and event coordination for the organization, all geared toward strengthening a local community of startups and entrepreneurs in the DC, Maryland and Virginia region.Some highlights during my time with Foster.ly we coordinating the Startup Showcase and Expo for Day of Fosterly 2013 and coordinating the Innovation Showcase for Fosterly's #GovFest in September 2013.

As Head of Marketing & Events, I was tasked with developing and sharing quality content across the company's multiple digital platforms, creating products and reports with a consistent brand, and worked with various media and tech-based partners to promote TrendPo's political data insights among DC's political audiences. I oversaw the company's bi-weekly newsletter and social media content/blog schedule and ensured that our freelance contributors delivered their content on deadline.I created, developed, and managed the Senate Social Media Challenge (#SenateSweeps), a six-week marketing campaign that drew upon top Senators social media metrics in a NCAA bracket-type format (i.e. "March Madness"). This campaign received coverage in outlets like US News & World Report, Politico, InTheCapital, among others. TrendPo is a political analytics dashboard that ranks politicians daily through the use of metrics via social media and news sources. In real time, TrendPo ranks over 5,000 politicians, organizations, and top issues in terms of news and social relevancy.

As coordinator for LSM DC, I oversaw the arrangements and organization for LSM workshops that occur over a 3-day long event. My duties included promoting the event through media partners, sponsors, and social media, recruiting mentors and speakers for the events, increasing member attendance, engaging a wide alumni audience, and producing deliverables and arranging all the necessary supplies for a successful workshop.

For the Corporate Leadership Council branch of CEB, I provided routine service for our seniormost members of the HR function of their companies. I regularly connected our members with my Account Managers to assure appropriate alignment within the membership, and moving forward.
