Recent Achievements- Prepared an assessment into the pipeline system risks and opportunities, and the capital and operating costs of replacing or refitting natural gas-driven compressors with electric-driven compressors.- Developed compliance guidelines for natural gas transmission and storage companies subject to Canadian federal methane regulations.- Established a network of commercial natural gas sellers and suppliers for use in collecting natural gas data parameters for the collection of relevant fuel properties, such as, fuel volumes, energy content and composition. The data and analysis from this project is used for developing and updating regional carbon dioxide emission factors by province and territory for use in Canada's national inventory program. This will aid in meeting the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change’s requirements for transparency, completeness and accuracy. Currently Working On- Developing an optimal pathway to achieve Net-Zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions by 2030 for a Canadian energy company, including emissions reduction options from their combustion and venting emissions sources, as well as investigating emissions offset options.- Developing a fugitive and venting emissions management program for an oil and gas company to reduce methane and volatile organic compound emissions from their Alberta, British Columbia and Canadian federally regulated assets
