My career began at the age of 13, when I launched a TeamSpeak VOIP hosting service. I netted international clients, some of whom paid me using international currency stuffed into CD cases and mailed to my house. Life experiences! Jump forward a year, and I built a community-oriented business entirely funded by donations. This business provided software and operational solutions to the early gaming groups spending at times thousands of dollars on video game servers, and in need of services to protect and automate them.Taking this passion for innovation and creative solution development into my adult career, I spent nearly a decade working in the insurance and risk management industry coordinating projects, performing business change management as well as business analysis and BI reporting. Achievements included implementing custom SalesForce integrations and workflows across several brands; leading and supporting business change management projects such as new KPI-driven document management solutions and production ready client guideline enforcement processes. My largest projects involved successful M&A integrations, supporting business process alignment and data integrity management between extremely large and complex corporations.More recently, I've taken a detour down application architecture and software engineering. Building large and complex software solutions for international clients, I lead a team dedicated to solving the challenges organizations face on a daily basis - as well as building solutions to problems that spur unique and innovative business initiatives.On my own time, I'm happy to share I've published a children's book about the challenges of a lonely farm goat who changes the minds and hearts of a tribe of mountain goats who are uncertain about outsiders. I've even produced a song!I enjoy taking on new challenges, and solving the unknown. My favorite moments in my personal and professional life have involved taking on an entirely new experience and transforming it into something successful.
