From ideation to planning to recording to editing to publishing, I assist in the production of over 15 podcasts for businesses and leaders in business, arts and athletics. I also ensure the content reaches the target audience by creating launch strategies, writing press releases and creating engaging social media content. Honestly, working for a startup.

I assisted in podcast production to create content that helps local entrepreneurs build better businesses and brand awareness. My duties included doing interviews, taking photos for social media and walking up to random strangers and turning them into podcast stars 🤩

I created photo and video content and wrote copy for UNC-CH’s Facebook (@UNCChapelHill), Twitter (@UNC), Instagram (@UNCChapelHill), LinkedIn and Snapchat (@UNC-ChapelHill) accounts. I also recorded, wrote and edited episodes of Well Said, UNC-CH's official storytelling podcast. And it all started with me painting myself white and blue.

I worked my way up to organizing show content and overseeing all technical aspects of the program each week to ensure every show was crisp, clean and 29 minutes and 48 seconds long, and I even figured out how to do it virtually through the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

I reported, wrote and edited radio news stories weekly in preparation for the Saturday morning show on WCHL 97.9 FM, Chapel Hill's CBS network affiliate. I also served as technical director, which involved mixing other reporters' stories to perfection before operating the board that plays them on air on show day 🎧

I presented astronomy and other science content programs in Morehead Planetarium’s GlaxoSmithKline Fulldome Theater. For someone who used to say they didn't like science, I sure do love space. 🌎 And science. 🧪

I edited episodes of the AcaDames podcast and posted them to the website and Apple Podcasts. Being a woman in academia has challenges I'd never even considered.

I wrote and aggregated articles for www.thefullbird.com, a site dedicated to giving the full opinion on partisan issues. It gave me the opportunity to combine my passions for news writing and politics.

I choreographed and taught kids and teens dance fundamentals as part of the performance in the annual summer theater productions. There's nothing better than watching a 5-year-old perform, let alone remember, your dance routine.
