Time flies when you are part of an amazing, iconic organization! Colonial is a dynamic environment providing signature hospitality and legendary sports to include an annual PGA event. Managing all HR functions from employee recognition to recruiting to benefits and 401(k) administration for a multicultural staff. We emerged from 2020 stronger than ever.

Recruit passive/active candidates from client’s direct competitors, Alumni associations, referrals, published articles, cold calling and extensive networking. Administration of full-life cycle recruiting to include strategy development, sourcing and cold calling, reference and background checks, contract negotiations, and counseling for contract.

Managed full-life cycle recruiting for regional public accounting firm to include experienced, contract, and college hires. Worked with business line leaders to determine staffing goals/criteria/timing. Administered the college recruiting program. Conducted interview training for management who participated in hiring process.

Directed all HR functions for the Internal Firm Services (IFS) staff for thirteen locations in the Southwest region. Developed a human resources team that effectively operated across various service lines in a highly-matrixed environment. Areas of responsibility included employee relations, staff hiring, orientation, budgeting, compensation administration.

Provided guidance to all levels of management and non-management in areas such as training, EEOC, counseling, mediation, investigation, and ADA. Conducted investigations concerning discrimination and harassment (age, sex, ADA, race, gender, etc.). Prepared/reviewed company response to EEOC charges. Oversaw the company’s affirmative action program. Worked.
