I provide pre-admission and advising guidance to current and prospective students in MBA programs as well as support that assists in the recruiting of new MBA students. Teach Introduction to Spanish which emphasizes vocabulary, grammar structures, culture, and reading, writing, listening and speaking in Spanish. Employ novel teaching technology such as Wordpress and Blackboard to enhance content delivery and manage student needs. Two classes taught annually.

Actively planned, developed and administered academic advising to 1200+ incoming undeclared freshman students. Managed orientations for new and transfer students, created schedules and presented major exploration options to student populations. Presented student workshops and seminars for student success. Actively served on multiple committees for student success. Selected to serve on the hiring committee for the University Advising Center.

Taught Spanish I and II to 190+ heritage and non-heritage speakers annually. Provided personal instruction, assessment and support of material, and created innovative lesson plans. Effectively communicated weekly progress reports to students and parents. Implemented effective classroom management strategies and modified assignments based on student needs. Six classes taught annually.
