We were Boston’s Favorite and “Anchovies” continues to reign popular after it’s sale in March of 2006.I have retired from the hustle of the city to return to a world that sooths my soul, the sea .I am a chef, a musician and most importantly, a responsible, confident captain.CAPTAIN/INSTRUCTOR EXPERIENCE:-2000- USCG Master Captain License.-2000 – 2004 – Crew and captain for Mahina Lai Charters in Cortez, Fl. 2hr. Dolphin Sails on a 36’ Catamaran and 2hr.-2week sails on a 50’ Schooner.-2004 – 2005 – captain, private 72’ Ketch, the “Crystal Spray” Boston Harbor/Gloucester, Ma.-Summer 2006 – Hawthorne Cove Marina, Salem, Ma. Launch Captain, private charters on my 36’ Islander and taught privately on a restored 1968, 22’ Pearson Ensign.-2006 – ASA Instructor certification 201-2006 - Present – Teaching certified and non-certified sailing instruction on the Central West Coast of Florida and in New England.-2006 - Present – delivering/chartering vessels, West Coast of Florida, Florida Keys, BVI, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Turks and Caicos, Exumas, Bahamas, Eastern Seaboard from Florida to NH, - 2008 – Upgrade to ASA Instructor Certification, Basic Coastal Cruising, Bareboat Chartering, Coastal Navigation (203, 204 and 205)1999, Restored 1976 Islander 36’, replaced all systems, live aboard for 2 yrs. cruised the West Coast of Florida to New England.-Good troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
