Our journey began as a grassroots community organization, offering Spanish classes to preschool and elementary students in community centers and homeschool organizations. The spark we ignited in those early years drove us to expand our reach further.By 2004, we expanded into the realm of after-school programs, implementing Spanish language and culture classes in elementary schools. Our dedication and innovation didn't go unnoticed, as we secured contracts with both private and public institutions by 2005, integrating our program as an essential part of their core educational curriculum.Here at Spanish for Kids, customization is our forte. We breathe life into our Spanish program, infusing it with the soul of each school or community we collaborate with. We listen to our clients, dive into their school's themes, focus, and aspirations. Developed comprehensible input curriculum in a 1st - 8th grade private independent school. Restructured world language program from a grammar-based model to an interactive, communicative curriculum which dramatically increased language comprehension and output.

Created interactive curriculum for kindergarten - 2nd grade students. Designed and developed a story-based curriculum for young learners of Spanish. Using familiar stories, students re-enacted and practiced simple stories in Spanish. Students came up with alternative endings to stories that were created for the classroom library.

Taught first grade curriculum at an international school in an urban setting. Created hands-on materials and interactive lessons to differentiate instruction among students.

Spanish immersion teacher for kindergarten and later 4th grade students. Taught entire kindergarten curriculum in Spanish in order to achieve bilingual and biliterate skills in students. Half of student population was native Spanish speaking and half was native English speaking.
