Hi everyone! My name is Celeste and I use she/her pronouns. I am a first-generation Mexican-American Latina, currently in my third year at San Jose State University, majoring in Psychology with minors in both Atypical Child Studies and Child and Adolescent Development. I chose to major in Psychology because I have always desired to help others through therapy and counseling. I am hoping to apply to a Master's program in clinical or school psychology to obtain either an LPCC or MFT and my PPS credential so that I can work as a school counselor with a focus on the adolescent age group. Some of my professional strengths are excellent customer service and communication skills, I believe that it is necessary to have good communication not only in your professional life but also in your personal. In my personal life, I am extremely organized and also help those around me get organized financially, academically, and mentally. I am actively searching for internships, part-time, or volunteer work in the Counseling, ABA, and Mentoring industries, specifically focusing on adolescent age groups.
