I am currently the general manager at Casablanca Hookah Lounge in the Gaslamp. Working at Casablanca for two years has taught a lot about the hospitality industry including quality customer service and management. I started off as a bartender in 2014 and stepped up to management in 2015. Managing is hard work, but I definitely like the busy schedule that comes with it. I do everything from inventory, training new employees, checking up on beer and wine quality, adding to our menu for every season, keeping up with our social media accounts, and promotions. I know everything there is to know about running a business except the accounting side which is why i decided to go back to school. I used to attend USF. I currently attend San Diego City College where I am studying accounting. I am very satisfied with this career choice and I am looking forward to transferring to a four year university to continue my education.
