  In my current role, I manage the Epic training and mobile application download for all Providers and Clinicians within the Inpatient and Ambulatory settings. I have a close working relationship with the UNC - Wilmington Residency and SEAHEC Programs coordinating the EMR onboarding process and providing support throughout their rotation and work within our Healthcare system. I also have the opportunity to work with end-users to improve workflows, patient education, documentation, and navigation through the electronic medical record. Working with the 5 different Schools of Nursing within the Wilmington area and surrounding counties is another “perk “ of this position. Always striving to improve the care of our patients and identifying opportunities to lead our community to outstanding health. Most recently, I have been working closely with the Novant Health Patient Education Director, Specialists, our Leadership, and team members to align the tools currently utilized at NH in educating our patients in the most efficient and effective manner, yet also making the system user friendly for the Clinicians and Providers to provide this information.
