I am currently working as an exercise physiologist for Inspire Health Services, the leading allied health care facility in Australia. My exercise journey started very young at 7 years old and continued into my 20’s through basketball. During this time I took on many roles such as assistant/head coach of representative teams, club and school basketball and grass root programs that worked through schools and clubs to help develop participation levels. When leaving high school I knew I wanted to coach more so found any degree with sport in the title and landed in a bachelor or sport and exercise science at Australian Catholic University. During which I continued to work for my local basketball team both coaching and at the stadium while still playing at a sub elite level. Once I left University I started working for inspire health as an exercise scientist, in which I would work mostly with general health and fitness goals. While my own sporting career was winding up I decided to invest more time into studying and returned to ACU to complete my masters in exercise physiology. Throughout my time in sport and exercise, I’ve realised that it is more than just the physical participation in movement. The skills we can learn through the physical pursuit of sport and health can effect both the mental & emotion pursuit of greatness (or being the greatest person you can be). Now each day I work with clients of all backgrounds on this pursuit.
