My responsibilities as PE Curriculum Facilitator are to: - facilitate effective understanding, planning and implementation of the PE curriculum for teachers, school leaders and school communities. - provide advice and support to selected secondary schools and teachers implementing Sport NZ’s Sport in Education initiative, an approach to teaching and learning which uses the context and concepts of sport to engage students, and improve their learning outcomes.I am excited about joining the team at Team Solutions in the role as PE Curriculum Facilitator, based in Wellington and the Hutt Valley. I am looking forward to the change from leading a department and cross-curricular project within a secondary school, to working with a wide range of primary and secondary school communities.
