In 2016, she was honoured as the Premier’s Volunteer of the Year with the Dame Elisabeth Murdoch Award and was a finalist for the Australian Human Rights Commission’s Human Rights Medal in 2017.In 2020, Celia became the youngest recipient of the IPAA Victoria Top 50 Public Sector Women recognition.
