As consultant with a background in International Development (MSc.) and Psychology (MSc.), I am passionate to contribute to social and environmental change in Africa and beyond. I am currently working as consultant for UNICEF and I am a proud director of Surfpop Foundation in Cape Town, South Africa. Over the last 10 years, I have conducted research and advisory work for UNICEF, Surfpop Foundation, UNESCO, World Food Programme, World Bank, German Development Cooperation, Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Brew Kombucha in South Africa, Lesotho, the Horn of Africa, Nigeria, Lebanon and South Sudan. My main focus has been on providing solutions for refugee issues, migration, social protection and child protection, by conducting research, monitoring and evaluation, contributing to policy and program development, and being involved in hands on implementation.
