Through the Biophysical Society, I had the opportunity to intern at the Weiss Lab at UCLA. My project was to evaluate the efficacy the different ways to attach a fluorescent probe to the end of synthesized DNA. There I learned many basic wet lab skills:-- Preparation of bench solutions, buffers and bacterial growth media-- Gel electrophoresis.

I developed a database to track survey responses from subjects in a cortisol response study.
