He graduated in 1992 from Army War College Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department. He served as signal officer in different fields including Cable, Radio and Satellite Communications Systems and Encryption, Information Security, Electronic Warfare.Between 1995-1996, he served as signal officer of Turkish troops at the NATO Peace Force in Bosnia Herzegovina. He was responsible for managing Communication Infrastructures and Network Security. He completed supplementary education at the Middle East Technical University Computer Engineering Department between 1998-1999. He received a master’s degree at Bilkent University Computer Engineering Departments in 2002. He studied Data Mining and Big Data.He had worked in different ranks at the Turkish Armed Forces and NATO since 2002 as software developer, and project managers during the development of Command and Control software and as a part of projects for founding and extending network infrastructures. He took active roles in the number of ICT and Cyber Security Exercises which were organized nationally or by NATO. He participated in a course about Network Structures, Cyber Security, and Information System Security in the USA between 2004-2005.Between 2005 and 2013, He worked at the “Multilateral Interoperability Program - MIP” that is an international organization defining interoperability specifications for the exchange information among the systems of various countries.He retired from the Turkish Armed Forces in 2014 with Senior Colonel after 22 years of successful service.In 2014, he was appointed as the Deputy General Manager of the Social Security Institution (SGK) responsible for operating and developing the nation-wide information system infrastructure and coordination of the institution's Information System and Cyber Security. During this period, he carried out various projects concerning the software applications used in the SGK, development and improvement of information system infrastructure as well as transfer of SGK’s information system architecture to new technologies such as cloud computing.He worked as the General Manager of TÜRKSAT approximately five years. Türksat A.Ş is the National Satellite operator of Turkey. Türksat A.Ş. also has cable TV and broadband internet infrastructure with more than 1.3 million customers. Turksat A.Ş. has been operating the e-government portal which serves more than 50 million customers.He was appointed as Turkish Space Agency Board member between 2019-2022.He is the CEO of MipMap Technologies since 2021
