- Head of the biochemistry domain within the lab.- Plan and schedule experiments, manage lab members’schedules, & interview and provide tours forpotential new members.- Maintain inventories, order reagents, & conduct wet lab and behavioral experiments (recent novelexperiments include microdialysis & calcium imaging).- Responsible for scoring and analyzing both behavioral and biochemical data & providing solutions totechnological and computational challenges within the lab.- Maintain organized digital and physical working spaces and update lab protocols.

-Performed approx. 20 unique wet lab and behavioral experiments & assisted in maintaining a functionalresearch lab.- Wet lab experiments performed included Immunohistochemistry/Immune fluorescents, RNAseq, brainextraction (perfusions and decaps), and slicing.- Behavioral experiments performed included the delayed discounting task, a modification to the peerrejection peridium (‘mean girl peridium’), social isolation test, EtOH drinking studies, cliff avoidancereaction test, and open field. All behavioral experiments were performed on rodents (mice and rats).- Managed imaging, data collection, and computational problem-solving solutions.

- Maintained lab functionality, ran PCRs, and kept up with modern science through weekly literaturereviews.- Assisted in graduate student projects and introduced new technology software for data analysis.- Practiced and learned presentational, writing, collaborative group discussion, & time management skills
