At this time I am currently living the dream, which is to develop a CAD system the way we have always thought a CAD system should be. Straightforward and intuitive, showing the dispatchers exactly what they need to see when they need to see it. During all of my time doing testing and implementation of these systems, We would always comment on how if we made a CAD, we would do it in this fashion or the other which seemed so much more efficient and intuitive. Well, now at Plott Labs we are. Together with some of the very knowledgeable people form back in the day, we are developing a CAD and doing it right. I am very pleased with the level of skill and knowledge that has gone into this system, and very excited to see it in action. There is still more to be done, but we feel we are on the right track.Over 10 years experience working in the Public Safety sector for Plant*CML (formerly known as Plant Equipment, Inc.), with 5 of those years working directly with a tier 3 CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch) system and mobile data systems. I have primarily worked as an Integration and Test Engineer, but my role was more that of an Implementation Engineer. In the last few years, my responsibilities have included the planning, staging and execution of new site implementations as well as upgrades. I have worked closely with different law enforcement and fire organizations during the development of both the CAD and Mobile Data systems, and have effected the successful implementation of these systems at numerous sites.I am also a master troubleshooter. As the third-tier Technical Support Analyst, I was directly responsible for correcting numerous nagging field issues and increasing the level of customer satisfaction with the products considerably.I have a 100% success rate with field implementations and troubleshooting. I am also very good at maintaining effective communications with vendors and integrators.
